Star Fox 64 Archipelago
Portable Windows x64 Starship native port and Peliarch Archipelago client. The 2026-10-15 WIP release includes the matching binary, complete source archive, release notes and SHA-256 checksums.
Extract the whole binary ZIP into a writable folder. Windows 10/11 x64, a supported graphics driver and Windows PowerShell are required. Supply your own Star Fox 64 US 1.0 or US 1.1 ROM:
Launch-StarFox64.cmd -SetupAssets
Launch-StarFox64.cmd -Endpoint ws://HOST:PORT -Slot "Your Player Name"
Alternatively use -Assets "PATH\sf64.o2r" with your own extracted US assets.
The package includes the unchanged original AP-Star-Fox-64 v0.4.1 APWorld for
generation. A local Archipelago server is not bundled or needed to join a
hosted room. Read the package README for generation, password, profile and
upgrade instructions. Load the campaign save intended for your room.
This release fixes RingLink checkpoint-restoration losses and completion or cutscene gains. It supports the original world contract, progression and goals, DeathLink and RingLink. Automated verification covers production native callers, bridge/client/server delivery, restart/reconnect controls, all 133 checks in a controlled campaign fixture, and the actual portable launcher starting the full native game and client and pairing with a real server. Fixtures replace physical flight, boss AI and game callbacks; a physically played campaign and visible usability have not been certified. See the release notes and packaged VERIFICATION.txt for the exact boundaries.
ROMs, extracted retail sf64.o2r data, player saves, credentials and room state are excluded. Included port resources are source-created renderer shaders and upstream boost gauges. The matching source archive includes pinned custom dependencies, build patches, reproduction commands and license notices.
Native port: SonicDcer, Lywx, HarbourMasters, SF64 decompilation contributors and HM64/libultraship. Original Archipelago world/client: Auztin and contributors. Peliarch integration and shared client contributors. Component licenses and upstream notices are retained in both archives; MIT-LICENSE accompanies the integration sources.
