Halo CE Archipelago (WIP)

Portable Windows release of the paired OpenCE native game and Peliarch Archipelago client. This is an unofficial fan integration. Players supply their own Halo Combat Evolved Xbox campaign and UI caches; no original game data is distributed.

Download the Windows package, source and companion APWorld.

The Windows package contains the x86/SSE2 native game, x64 GUI client, SDL3 and Launch.cmd. Extract the package and run Launch.cmd -Help. Install halo_mcc.apworld in an Archipelago generator, select Halo The Master Chief Collection and opence_profile: full, and connect the launcher to your hosted AP room. Native and client must be upgraded together. Keep your selected profile and normal save when resuming.

The October 15 update fixes unmanaged SkullSanity activation in off and non_scoring modes. Existing supported seeds and journals remain compatible. See release notes and provenance for scope and exact component pins.

The source release is the reviewed halo-ce-archipelago-source-20261015.zip attachment. It includes native, adapter and companion world source plus dependency, font and artwork notices. This repository holds release documentation; its automatic Git source archives contain only these documents. Use the attached source ZIP to build the integration. Original upstream and dependency licenses remain as supplied in that archive; no additional license grant is asserted.

Exact extracted launcher/GUI/native startup, menu initialization and real client/server callback fixtures were tested. These establish the boundaries described in the release notes; a physical full campaign, rendered gameplay and game feel are not certified.
